So excited to say that I am teaming up with my friend, Sabina of @girlvsglobe to launch the @rockmyadventure tour to... MALAWI! 🇲🇼

Both Sabina and I are absolutely in ❤️ with Malawi and we cannot wait to share our love of this incredible country with YOU!

This trip will be epic, taking us to some of Malawi’s most incredible destinations - we’ll immerse ourselves in nature on safari in Liwonde National Park, visit the hilltop town of Livingstonia, experience the beauty and tranquility of Lake Malawi and, spend time in rural Ruarwe! 🐘

If you’ve been to Malawi with me before, you’ll see that these are totally different locations to the Rock My Malawi, Zambia & Botswana Adventure (except for Lilongwe 😉).

On the trip, Sabina will be offering Instagram & YouTube tips 📸 and I will be offering daily yoga and meditation sessions 🧘🏻‍♀️(all optional).

Sabina and I have a really similar outlook on travel - with a sustainable, experiential, fun, grassroots, and down-to-earth approach to our adventures! So that’s exactly what you’re going to get from this trip! 🙏🏻

It’s been a while since my last travel post. 21s

It’s been a while since my last travel post. 21st January to be precise. 🙈

Since then I’ve been to Costa Rica, Benin & Togo, then Coronavirus reared it’s ugly head and travel came to a halt. 🌍

During this time, my fibroids, which had been an on-going issue for the past year and a half, grew and degenerated giving me what is known as the ‘heart attack of the womb’. I was in a lot of pain and the fibroids were pressing on my ureter, compromising my kidney so I was rushed in for an emergency myomectomy. 😭

It was a really dark time for me as I was told I’d have to have a hysterectomy. Something I’d not prepared for. However, my surgeon worked a miracle and they were able to remove the fibroids, leaving my uterus in tact. 🙏🏻

Fast forward 3 months and I am pretty much fully recovered and have just qualified as an Ashtanga & Vinyasa Yoga Teacher🧘🏻‍♀️

This experience has changed everything. I believe that stress and my busy lifestyle played a major part in my illness and I’ve changed many aspects of the way I live to ensure I’m living in a healthier, more sustainable way. I’ve even started teaching yoga online and am also doing a Kids Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training Course. 🌈
