It’s #namibia🇳🇦 week over here, so I’m going to be sharing some of my favourite pics from my last 2 trips to this gorgeous country!

This one was taken in Etosha National Park. We were at our campsite, sitting at the waterhole when around 30 elephants came trundling in to drink. We sat there in awesome just watching them do their thing.

It was one of the most magical moments of my life!! And I’m going again next year! Who wants to come and sit with me in this very spot?

The trip will be a mix of beautiful lodges and camping - the best of both worlds! Link in bio!! 😉

Happy Independence Day Malawi! 57 Years! I miss you! ❤️🇲🇼#

This photo was taken in Livingstonia, a city high on a hill overlooking Lake Malawi. My friend Melissa and I were staying at the wonderful @themushroomfarmmalawi when we met Junior. He was our guide for the day when we went exploring the city and swimming in waterfalls (see my previous post from last week).

We got on really well and he invited us to his sister’s dowry ceremony the following day. We were due to leave the area but we ended up changing our plans because when someone invites you to a ceremony in Africa - you go!!

We met all the family, ate incredible local food, drank locally made beer, had a sing song under the shade of a banda and partied with all the relatives!

It was THE BEST day!!! We were welcomed into the family with open arms. THIS is why Malawi is known as the “Warm Heart of Africa” and this is one of the reasons I ❤️ Malawi (and all of Africa) so much. 🥰🥰🥰

📍 Valley of the Rocks in North Devon!

I’ve been travelling to this part of the UK my whole life and until last year, I’d never been to the Valley of the Rocks, near Lynton & Lynmouth.

It’s a gorgeous place to visit and you can either go for the day and have a a little wander or it’s also part of the South West Coast Path, which is a fabulous multi-day hike (which I am dying to do).

Usually when I’m in that part of the country, all I do is surf, eat, drink, sleep, repeat! 🏄🏻‍♀️🍦🍷😴 But when we went last year, Covid just made our usual ‘routine’ much more difficult, so we decided to do a bit of exploring!

Covid is crap, but one thing it has done is force me to do things differently, discover new places, new hobbies (wild swimming) and allowed me to reassess a lot of things!
